Happy Valentine!

The third leg of our proposed 20-stage gaming trip to finance a new restroom by the north side of our St. Williams Church was conducted on Jan. 31, 2009.

The dream-chasers/excursionists travelled to Oroville, CA and visited the Featherfalls Casino with moderate luck. As always, the trip was hilarious, full of fun, excitement and lots of good foods to indulge with. My profound gratitude to the following officers and members who donated cash, foods and drinks.

My whole-hearted thanks as well to the officers and members energetically serving the needs of our patrons Nanette Tolentino-Canillas, Grace, Rochelle, Edna and carrying chores by Tito Lu, Hector Foronda, Clem Baldoria and Rick Madayag. Homebound, we watched 65% the movie "Minsan Minahal Kita" to be continued in our next trip. If you noticed, our proposed project is no longer refurbishing the existing old one. Reported structural problems and plumbing deficiencies caused the BOD's and officers to abandon the 'rescue idea' and opted for a new/modern one that we're proud of. Estimated cost is roughly $11K @ the current exchange rate for a 6 stall men/women call of nature convenience-reliever structure. We hope to fully fund this by the end of the year 2010 not unless monetary donations give more oxygen to this noble project.
