Magsingal Organization Of America

Dear fellow officers and members,

In our organization's ongoing effort to be responsive and serve the needs of our communities, we're again sponsoring the above subject this month of November. Economic downturn has hit our country badly and perhaps our family budgets as well. However, MOA has been blessed in many ways to carry-out our charitable project we initiated a year ago. Generous members, supporters, donors, town mates and friends during the recent Induction of Officers on 10/4 made this outreach program possible. Teaming-up with us again to sponsor this notable program, is the Friends USA Charitable Foundation Inc. Two new groups joining the bandwagon for the the City of San Jose are the Filipino Community of Santa Clara and Sampaguita Lions Club of San Jose. Dinner will be served on Nov 14th (Friday) at The Emmanuel House/Salvation Army in San Jose. Our lifetime member and president of The Friends USA 2000, Mac Macaraeg is coordinating at this site. The City of Stockton has its turn on Nov.29th (Sat.) at the St. Mary's Interfaith Community Hall, 545 W. Sonora St., Stockton, CA. (209) 467-0703. Volunteers are to show-up around 9:30 a.m. to prepare an 11:30 to 12:30 lunch. Slippers, shorts, tanks are prohibited. Famous Filipino cuisine like pork/chicken adobo, vegetable/shanghai egg-roll and pancit bihon would be served to both locations. Members from the following counties; San Joaquin, Alameda, Sta. Clara, San Mateo and San Francisco- please let me know if you notice any "sale" Foster Whole Chicken. We need to provide 350lbs. Same as O'Tasty brand lumpia wrappers, we need 1500 pieces & bihon 250lbs. Magsingal Organization of America is maintaining the Spirit of Thanksgiving (Sharing)!

Brotherly yours,

Tereso "Esong" Ugalino
